Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns or offer exchanges with the exception of appliances that we are unable to test (see appliance testing FAQ).
Appliances that have been tested are not eligible for return or exchange privileges. Appliances that we are unable to test can be exchanged or returned for store credit within 7 days of the date you take possession of the appliance.
Items that are left at Rebuilding Exchange for longer than 7 days will be considered as donations back to Rebuilding Exchange, no returns or credits will be issued.

Thank you for your support. After 16 years, 4.5 million pounds of diverted materials, over 150 people trained for careers in the trades, and countless hours spent equipping our neighbors with skills in our workshops, the Rebuilding Exchange is closed, effective 6 p.m. on October 17, 2025. While we cannot continue this work today, we believe it is critical to our shared future. We are exploring what the future holds for us to make a difference in the future of our planet and workforce.
