Are all items available for shipping?

Only certain items are able to be shipped. On the item's product page, it will say whether an item can be shipped. Shipping cost is calculated at the time of purchase.

Can I pick my items up in person?

Items may be picked up from the Rebuilding Exchange location where they are located. The item's product page will say which location the item is available at. We are open 7 days a week from 10:00am to 6:00pm

Do you deliver items locally?

Local delivery to the Chicagoland area is available for select items. The item's page will indicate whether local delivery is available.

Fees vary based on the location of the delivery. Please call our store at the numbers below and speak with a sales associate to receive an estimate. The final delivery cost will be calculated AFTER purchase.

Can I return items if it is the wrong size or doesn't work for me in some other way.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns or offer exchanges with the exception of appliances that we are unable to test (see appliance testing FAQ).

Please be sure that you bring your accurate measurements with you when you make your purchase.

How long can I leave my item at Rebuilding Exchange once I have purchased it?

You always have 7 days from the date of purchase to either pick up the item or set up a delivery. Please see your sales associate for detail on our delivery services. We are also happy to help you load your purchase if you are picking it up. The safety of our associates and customers is paramount to the protection of your vehicle, this may impose limits on what we are able to do.

What if I can’t pick my item up in 7 days?

Items that are left at Rebuilding Exchange for longer than 7 days will be considered as donations back to Rebuilding Exchange, no returns or credits will be issued.

Can I return or exchange appliances purchased from Rebuilding Exchange?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns or offer exchanges with the exception of appliances that we are unable to test (see below). Please be sure that you bring your accurate measurements with you when you make your purchase. If you are unsure if an item is right for you we can hold most items for a 24-hour time period.

Appliances that have been tested are not eligible for return or exchange privileges. Appliances that we are unable to test can be exchanged or returned for store credit within 7 days of the date you take possession of the appliance.

Have the appliances you sell been tested?

We have the ability to test many of the appliances we sell, the appliances we are able to test varies by location so please check with your sales associate. Appliances that have been tested are marked with the date they were tested.

Do you accept material donations?

Yes we do! We ask that all donations be pre-approved by completing the form on our website and having pictures attached. The types of materials we can accept varies based on our inventory levels.
